"There was no way to know what TV show was on the various channels.
A TV Guidebook was there but out of date and besides there was no way to know, for example what channel was CBS. The TV Guide did not fit the area anyway.
The room was noisy. Every footstep on the floor above could be heard through the ceiling.
The desk people were quite cordial and attempted to be helpful."
